Condensation Inside Car on Windscreen...

On the Mrs' car it seems to be getting condensation on the inside of the windscreen when it's cold/wet outside. The only thing we've been able to do is just wipe it off but obviously this leaves nasty water marks.

Is there anything to do to prevent this? If not, what's the best method of wiping it off without leaving water marks?

Mine was getting it really bad in the morning to the point where the inside was frozen worse than the outside.

What I do know is when I'm about 3-4 minutes from home, open both windows and turn the blowers off to get rid of the hot air. Doesn't seem to do it now.

1) Make sure the air recirc button isn't on.

2) Make sure all the carpets are dry (And subsequently there are no leaks)

3) don't get it really hot with the heaters then just get out and leave it. Let it cool down a bit first, leave the door open for a minute or two before you lock up and go in the house.

The seats are damp (calm down lads) for some reason which is probably what's causing it. I think she spilt a load of water all over them somehow but that was a while ago now... the water stains are still present though.

Check her pants. She could be so excited to see you, her pants are dripping wet.

Wetter than an otters pocket iirc.

It's been worse since the cold weather with it frosting up on the outside. The rain doesn't affect it and I've checked for leaks/gaps etc.

No fan heater unfortunately :dapprove:

The moisture bags will work mate!

I had mould forming in both my clio's, Cleaned it off, put the bags in and there's no condensation on the windows and no mould :)

Win.

Thanks!

The gf's KA has wet carpets, gonna check all the seals over then use one of these and see how we go, its a right pain in the arse!

Is it an old shape ka? 96-08 shape?

If it is, they leak like a sieve. Usually due to holes caused by rot.

I've noticed this too. My theory was, with the recent snow and now the wet weather bringing water into the mats/carpet and it's then causing condensation the morning/evening after. It's obviously fairly cold outside, so that's got some play in it.
