Confused about washer jets.

I know this has been covered before and yes I have
done a search, thats why i'm a bit confused.

A few posts mention seperate pumps for windscreen and
headlights but GSF and euro car parts only stock one pump,
do I need two of them or does one pump control both
windscreen and headlights?

you need two apparently mate. One for the headlight ones and one for the normal ones. Presumably the pumps are the same. You'll only need two if everything doesn't work.

Whats not working?

Windsreen and headlights, both don't work.

Pull stalk and no solonoid/clicking sound and no
pump noise aswell.

no idea. i dont have a Clio.

easiest way is to get a multi meter, and check that the pump is getting power, rather than trying to bodge a connection to test the pump

is there no noise when you pull either stalk back?

Also, your lights are on when you try the headlight washers aren't they ;)

No noise at all when I pull the stalk, but it does work the wipers,
and yes, its the same at night when the lights are on.:)

A few months ago the washers stared to not work every now
and again, if it was the fuse it would have gone instantly and
not gradually wouldn't it?

I sometimes have weak spraying windscreen jets, other day's they're fine. Replaced the jets and pipes to no noticable effect. Maybe the pump on the way.
