connecting a tablet to a laptop help?

im looking at buying a hp tablet.

is it possible to remote from the tablets via wifi onto my laptop and see everything on my laptop screen and control it.

i wana use the touch screen on the tablet to control some laser show sofware running on my main laptop?

Yeah no problem over wireless just install the server on your pc and the client on your tablet.
Pop in the internal i.p of your pc in the client setup on your tablet and bobs your dog

Yeah and install it on both machines. Picking server for your pc and client for your tablet.

I may be wrong but you can't connect to them from a vista machine you can only set them up to be connected to. I did try and sort it out through vista before but couldn't do it. This program is tiny and works very well.

You can connect Vista to XP and vice versa.

Make sure you have remote desktop enabled (Start - Right click My Computer - Remote and Enable users to connect remotly)

Ensure firewall isn't blocking remote connection.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - Remote Desktop Connection

Type in IP (will start 192.168) or computer name.

You will also need a password on the machine to connect
