connecting leds

i have a set of led lights that i would like to connect above my foot pedals...

i want them to come on everytime i switch my headlights on... whats the best way to connect them up to the headlight switch? e.g. what wire etc

under the panel. to the wires on the back of the ciggarette lighter. blue and black wire are the ones iirc. but dont hold me to it. pm me to remember to look for you in the morning
