Hi to everyone, i wanted to know if the conrods from a 1.4 16v are smaller than the ones from a 1.6 16v, anyone nows the mesure or a program or site where i can know that kind of specs... i'm really needing that.

I think they use the same rods, but you will need to confirm that on the parts system.

Thanks, does anyone knows if the 1.2 16v rods would serve in the 1.6 16v?
I'm in need of shorter rods, by 20-30mm than the ones from the 1.6, and i'm lacking information, in renault they don't also know this, or at least they don't show much interest.

if you want shorter rods you want to start looking at longer stroke engines as donors

Only if the deck height is the same or less than the stroke increase.
