Continental SportContact 2

My Mk2 172 is in need of a new set of tyres. I looked on http://www.mytyres.co.ukhttp://www.mytyres.co.uk and they are selling the original SportContact and the new SportContact 2 (both at the same price). Has anybody used the new SportContact 2 and if so did you find them to be better/worse than the original SportContacts?

I thought about these when I changed mine a few weeks ago and people didnt give them good comments. Got Michelin Exaltos instead for mytyres.co.uk and got to say they are really superb in all conditions. Best tyre Ive had and Ive had Contis, Toyos and goodyearGSD3s.

Just been looking at tyres today and everywhere wanted 80-90 Quid for contis!

Dont Michelin Exaltos come with the 182?

Got Bridgestones on my clio, they are a higher speed rating than I need, but they are probably one of the best all round tyres you can get.

Just ordered a set of the Conti Sport Contact 2 today. Also a set of the original ones as I can get them quicker.

Anyone got a set of Turini rims for the Cup?
