  A special one.
Now that is epic.

So much more sort after than the XR2 as there is far less Supersports on the road.

I have a major soft spot for mk1 fiestas. My first car was a 1300S which was fairly similar to the supersport.

I'd love another with a tuned 1760x/flow on twin 45s

I like that too.

Me and my mates bought an mk1 1.1 iirc for 50quid when we were 14 and went rallying up the mountains. My mate rolled the car and despite it rolling a couple of times managed to cope with it. f**k knows how. Loved this car ever since.

Awesome thing!

Spanish Sam's got one. His nan left it to him in her will. She had it from new and it's done less than 50k!

Got to be worth a fortune. Must be the only one owner from new supersport left in the world!

My dad scrapped loads too! Not supersports but mk1/mk2 escorts etc. Used to get. £30/40 for them.

Hindsight!!! Both he and I could retire now if he just bought and dry stored 30 mk1 escorts back then and sold them today.

I know someone that stored mk1/2 shells on his shelf because back in the day they used to shell them commonly through insurance.

Anyway the last 2 he had were mk1s. Sold them for £1500 each a while back. Iirc his words now are "I now feel like shooting myself".

My Dad got rid of some amazing cars. Stunning mk2 Mexico. Mk3 RS1600i. Mk2 xr2i x2. He built and stripped them for fun. :(

My Dad actually built my mum her first car from a bare mk1 Fiesta shell in her chosen bespoke colour (goldy champagne colour)... she never ever passed her test.
