Cool pack and ignition lead order check

Can somebody tell me the order so I can check leads and coils are plugged in correctly please

The coilpack is labelled up, right where the bolt holes are there is a little number. HT lead number 4 is the shortest lead iirc, if not number 1. So that goes to the far left hand side spark plug.

doesn't that snap on scanner tell you?.. all that money and it cant do that.. lol... think ill leave buying one now...

So the shortest lead connects up to 4 on the coil pack and plugs into 1st spark plug hole ?

so number 3 on coil then go to the 2nd hole ?

Number 2 on coil pack go to the 3rd spark plug hole ?

and number 1 on coil should be longest lead and go to the furthest right towards passenger side ?

is that correct ?

I've got my leads as per above .

ive now got the ignition fault light on dash .

Not sure if this is a coincidence or I have got a fault which is preventing it from starting.

connected up my spare coil pack also and the same .

its a square with a zig zag
