Haven't posted many pictures of the V6 but I now have plenty!

Saturday consisted of the car going in for an MOT I was originally supposed to take the car to Renault Dunfermiline for a service aswell but they were busy. Decided to go with Rentec in Edinburgh, great bunch of guys and good chat. They also had a Renault Alpine in which a guy bought for
£500 only has 52k on the clock. Anyways £30 for the MOT and all good :) No advisories and positive comments about how clean the V6 was.

Me and 2 mates had booked our Saturday to clean the car as we had access to a nice heated garage so decided to clean the car well. Unfortunetly I didnt get done what I wanted as I orderd new pads, IronX and polish plus a few other products to try but was relly dissapointed with cleanyourcar not showing up with the goods in time although on a supposed 48hr postal service. We decided to do what we could and everything was mainly done by hand. Process was as follows:

Pressure wash
Snow Foam - Zymol Natural Shampoo
G3 Detox Shampoo
Dried
Polsihed x2 - SRP
Waxed with Dodo Juice Diamond White
Glass polished with AG Polish
Dressings all done.

We also done the backbox as it was really faded and after seeing pictures on here what a diffrence! We used metal polish and a drill. Really pleased with this.

Here are some pictures from Saturday.

They are doing another run hopefully at some point. Since I got the V6 I havent done a big drive so it was really good and made me love it even more, I was wary of the handling if I'm honest but loved that it couldnt have been anymore dry. I haven't done much too it apart from spend a fortune on cleaning prodcuts, Karcher hoover/pressure washer etc etc lol but I have put fresh plates on, managed to source some genuine Ph1 mats and managed to get a Connects2 to allow the iPhone to work via the standard headunit.

I'm hopefully going to get a new exhaust and possibly change the steering wheel for a smaller one.

Thanks
B

That is stunning. Ph1>Ph2.

Looked like a great drive out. 1 day I'll own a car good enough to turn up to one of these and pretend to be a high rolling petrol head :)

I thought it was going to be a lot more tbh. Filled the tank which was about £70 and must still have about a £10 left (ish) me and a mate went half on the fuel.

When we went for lunch cheapest thing on the menu was about £18! safe to say we went elsewhere lol.

Anymore pictures of the 7? My rear arches are that colour at the moment and that picture is making me think twice about what colour to paint it...

The wheels look spaced out mate. Decent stance, sometimes they can be offset in the rear arches.

How many miles did you guys cover?

No spacers etc all standard. I do find the front wheels go in slightly in at the front but I'm not going to bother with spacers etc.

Must have been about 300miles!

Nice car..

Nice pics ruined by what I assume was a £4.99 eBay special wide-angle "filter"?!

Think your right mate, not my camera but a mates, appreciate what he's done though. I'm probaly worse auto and thats me set.

Demand he buys a proper wide angle lens (Sigma 10-20 for instance) not a "filter" haha... ;)

You can tell him to spend like £400 + on a lens to take photos of bens car if you want lol ;)
