Coolant - complete system flush & change [guide?]

Think it'll have to be a pair of mole grips today, credit crunch and all that

Managed it with the mole grips, wasn't too bad.

Lost a fair amount of coolant though when I was letting air out, so I'll have to get it checked for anti-freeze :dapprove:

Have had my coolant flushed and refilled - engine temperature seems slightly hotter when running, is this normal?

It doesn't overheat or anything and garage confirmed fan cuts on and off as normal - just seems to run very slightly hotter than normal and didn't know if new antifreeze / coolant makes much difference?

see if the rad fluids gone down, and take the cap off if it bubbles prolly just got air lock some where add water shud be fine, what temp is it actually reading

It is over half way but has 2 full bars between running temp and the thicker stack of bars at boiling point.

Probably my imagination!

Bump. In a quick rush to get my car back together after flushing the system.

How do I bleed it?

Remove the bleed valve on the thermostat housing, fill the coolant bottle until a steady flow of coolant comes out the bleed valve. Done.
