Coolant Hose Split....

Vavler has been getting noticeable more hot lately and noticed a pool of collant appearing when i stopped today - appears to be one of the engine reheating pipes....well this one; 77 00 853 580.

Question is, can i just tape it with something untill i get it fixed without it burst instantly? What would you recommend?

LX tape, plenty of, will be fine for now. Just dry the hose before appling the tape! (do it neatly)

Does anyone know if the samco kit would include this pipe (its a U shaped one that sits near the thermostat and curls underneith the manifold onto a metal pipe)?

they do make a samco one in that shape mate as i have it on mine. i also have a couple of these hoses sitting in my garage if you are after one mate. where you from?
