coolant leak and loss of acceleration

the pipe to my engine coolant came off and the water went everywhere, ever since when starting my car from cold it feels like its going to cut out and when i set off it doesnt accelerate properly and starts jerking, eventually it just stops and the car runs fine. any ideas? its a mk2ph2 thanks

I had a similar problem with the jerking etc.. But it wasn't related to coolant leaking. Just replaced the spark plugs and leads and it sorted, possibly consider the coil pack as well.

lol air in the system wouldnt cause it to do that!

i think its just coincidence unless coolant went totally everywhere id be checking down the spark plug/lead holes lol
