have a 1.6 16v 2002 dynamique with AC and its cooling fan isnt kicking in so car overheats when idle. Put power to the fan and it runs so wanted to check the relays in the engine fuse board.
How can i identify which relays control the cooling functions on the car? i belive there are two. furthermore how do you test if a relay is faulty.
Also would a a faulty fan control relay / resistor ( the one fitted on the radiator itself that controls the two speeds of the fan) result in a total fan failure. I been advised that this is unlikey as normally the fan would operate at one speed or the other rather than not at all if this component was at fault.
