Corner Weighting ...

Guys,

I do quite a few track days and have met alot of people, each one gives a differnt bit of advice.. one guy that i know quite well has advised me to get the car corner weighed..

he had done it to his porsche and said it made it soo much better.. although i dont have a porsche how much differance will it make to my clio,

I have a Clio cup 182 with coilovers (fitted before i brought the car), roll cage in the back so no rear seats, aftermarket wheels and Recaro bucket seats in the front (I belive they are the Renault upgrade ones)

Fred @ BTM did mine, made it feel nothing short of feather light, handles exactly as I dreamed it would!

You can't really do one without the other, hence they are usually done together.

You can start to balance the car's weight, but then that alters the ride height. Alternatively you could do the ride height, but then that'd upset the weighting. Catch 22, which is why people have both done at once.

Yea that was my thought process and BTM havent got the facilities to do full geometry... and there miles from me im south london.. does anyone know anyone in this area?

No idea what facilities they have as they seem to be more of an engine builder, but "TDF" (Tour De Force or something french sounding) are always the people that get recommended for anyone around London.
