corrupt memory card help

right ive got a compact flash card for my slr camera it has 900 pics of motor cross that i took yesterday. i put the car in and the card has gone corrupt. i download some software to fix it but it wanted 28 pound once it recovered it. has some one got some free software i can use please

have used this: Convar Smart Recovery with success on canon raw files before and pretty sure it was free too
