Cost of new clutch for valver?

The clutch thrust bearing on my valver broke last night leaving me gearless. :banghead:

Now is it worth getting a new clutch fitted (which I believe will include the thrust bearing), or just get the bearing replaced? The clutch was last changed 32,000 miles ago.

Also, any ideas on how much a new clutch will cost, and how much fitting will cost? Any recommendations for garages in Essex (apart from BB - too far away!)

You can get a clutch from Renault for about £65 but you have to exchange your old clutch to get it at that price. A new clutch would include a thrust bearing. Not sure on how much labour would be for fitting, but fitting a new clutch as well as a new bearing shouldn't bump up the labour costs too much as the main problem is the labour time in getting the gearbox off.

i seem to remember bb were doing it around the 350 mark that was around a year ago, fully fitted but that gives ya a rough idea!

where abouts in essex?
