Couple of Clio Questions

Hi Guys, I am new around here so first of all would like to say hi!
Couple of questions:

1. Are they still making and selling the 172 as I cant find it anywhere on the Renault website?!

2. Also considering a 182 but is it worth buying it brand new or getting one with a few thousand on the clock for only a couple of grand less?

Depends, you can get a new one from a car supermarket for £11k, or you can buy a UK spec 2nd hand for about the same. Not much difference really, if you have the cash get the new one from somewhere like motorpoint etc.

Currently got a 1.1 Saxo and want to get rid of it asap!

If I get a 182 from a Car Supermarket will I still get a warranty etc?

yeah if its a uk car its just like one from the delearship and if its a uk spec import then yuou have to register the warranty with renault and youll get the full uk warranty. only thing you wont get is window etching, locking wheel nuts and alarm. i think lloyds do uk cars for quite cheap. if i was you though id try and get a decent price through a delearship

Arranged a test drive for a 182 on Saturday morning - cant wait!

I am just hoping it reaches my expectations (I am sure it will)! People keep telling me to get a 2nd 172 but I like the idea of a 3yr Warranty and having something new.
Do you think if I was to haggle I could get it for around £12k at a Renault garage? (I have seen them for 12k on Autotrader brand new from other independent dealers).
