couple of cup questions!

  Leon Cupra 300
Should they have a spare wheel?

Do they have 1 or 2 remote key fobs?

and whats the deal with getting them serviced not at a reno dealer, how do i keep the warrenty?

thanks!

They don't come with a spare wheel just 2 cans of wheel gunk.

They should come with 2 remote key fobs (mines did)

Don't know about getting them serviced and keeping warranty, I've always had it serviced at reno and the cars out of warranty anyway now.

As above, so spare wheel but two cans of tyre foam. And two key fobs, make sure you get both as a replacement is very expensive.

You don't need to have your Cup serviced at a Renault franchise dealership to keep your warranty valid, any decent service centre/garage that uses approved parts will keep your warranty intact, this has been law for some time now. No reason to pay nearly double at a Renault garage if you know a good local trustworthy specialist to do it.

to keep warenty you will hav to inform reno that you intend to hav it done some where other than reno then go through auto protect to check if service is satisfactory and it has been carried out propley, or use a reno approved service centre
i did this with my first service its more trouble than its worth mate i am now sticking to reno service

^^^ It's never that complicated regardless of what a dealership may tell you. I know plenty of people who get their car serviced at non-Renault garages who have then taken their cars in for warranty work with no hassle. The OFT went to great lengths to make things cheaper and easier as far as things like this are concerned...

Ahh good. When it has its service though the only parts it will have will be like oil filter, air filter and oil.. do these have to come from reno then? and i just take them with me to my garage. get the book stamped to say its been done and still got warrenty???

thanks

If the garage uses approved parts then they will have everything to hand, you don't need to go direct to Renault to get the parts as this would probably cost you a fortune (especially oil!)

Is it a 172 Cup? The majority will be out of warranty by Christmas anyway, only a few sold in 2004.
