Courtesy Car Insurance

How does this work?

do you normally need to arrange your own insurance for the courtesy car, or do most garages put you on their insuance?

if its on my insurance, whats the going rate per day?

i would phone up and ask, but Greenlight are now shut.

Last garage I got one from said I was covered on their insurance.

I know the local Renault here, that you have to arrange your own insurance for a courtesy car.

i work for Evans Halshaw and we use your insurance, by ringing up and adding an extra policy.

Most are free but some charge (up to £27 iirc). Best to ring and ask

Most insurance compnays give it free if its for warently work not service work though (might give you an idea what to say its for).

If they do charge its only £10 or so if they want any more get day insurance for the car do a google search there a company does cover for over 21's for that sort of money I think.
