Covered by the warranty

I just noticed a damaged part on my Clio.

Inside where the drivers door handle is, there is a piece of plastic that surrounds the door handle, which is held in the middle by a screw. But there is a big split going across either side of the screw. Must be a 2/3" split.

Any idea if this is covered by the warranty?

Go and sweet talk your local garage. They might say wear and tear - be nice - they might do it for free.
