Just got my car back after having a new clutch put it. (At great expense I may add).
Had a look at the old one and the pressure plate had cracked completely in two places.
The clutch had been clunking a bit since I got the car 6 months ago then it just gave up and wouldn't let me select gear after a steep hill start in the city centre.
Is there anything that could have caused this? Or is it just down to the way that myself / the previous owner has driven it?
