Cracked water pump pulley!

has anyone else had this problem? the actual pully has hair line cracks in it, they almost look like scratches but on closer inspection we found that is has multipule cracks! Is this a common problem im not sure? my car has done 86k so it might be worth checking yours out? im changing it on thursday so i will have some pictures for you!

As far as I know, Dan's never come across anything like that.

very small hair line cracks! you cant see them very well where mine has cracked, but you can feel it with your finger, its quite sharp and i think if the belt was to slip it was slice the belt!
