Cracked Wheels Help

Ok guys basically I fitted the wheels last night and one of them cracked across the middle when I was tightening it up - I couldn't get it on properly but thought tightening them up would pull the wheel on anyway (oops) surely they shouldn't just crack though??

Also I think they will fit if I don't fit the little black plastic bits inside them first - Or can you not do this??

They shoudln't crack, CHUCK IT IN THE BIN NOW, if its cracked accross where the bolts go.

You need the plastic bits, spiggots, as they centre the wheel on the hub and stops nasty vibrations

Yeah matey they both cracked across where the nuts are!! aaarrrggghhhh!!

Can't believe - I fitted the black 'spiggots' and they fit (just tried them without wheel) so it must be faulty wheels eh?

Anyway demon tweeks are picking them up tomorrow and ordering two new ones - They will send the new ones back to me when the arrive instock - However I have to basically buy two new ones - They will send the broken ones to rimstock or wherever they came from and they will investiagte it, Do you think they are def. faulty wheels then????

Yeah, you SHOULD NOT be paying for them, you have a 12 month guarentee on ANY product, about manufacturing defects, they shoudl replace them for free!!!

Unless they are over 12 months old ofc

No I bought them last week dude - The guy at DT (Mark) said he wants me to return All 4. But obviously I don't have any wheels to put on so he is collecting the two cracked ones today and ordering two new ones, then when I get the two new ones I have to send the non cracke ones back - It will take up to two weeks for them to investigate the wheels and IF they are faulting I will be given a refund. I have to pay for two new wheels in the mean time though (GUTTED)

there are virtually none of these wheels left now mate, they dont make them any more!

i think i got last set ever direct from rimstock after a lot of fuking about to get some!

Just take it easy to start with matey - Your wheels were in the same batch they had that week - He said they order my set and one other (think it was yours) - They have said it will be about 4 days
