Tried doing a search on this, but can't find what i'm looking for.
Mrs' 16v clio N reg isn't starting for some reason.
Car was running perfectly, then she woke up in the morning to go to work, and it turned over but would not fire up.
Haven't got round to checking there's fuel coming through and that there's a spark. I'll do that in a bit.
Other ideas i've got are the factory immobiliser not turning off. However, the fuel pump i can hear priming, and the orange immobiliser light tells me it's turned off when i put ignition on.
Only other option i was toying with is the crank sensor possibly? I read somewhere that the revs should bounce up and down when the car turns over before it fires? Is this correct? As when the car turns over, it doesn't move, just sits at 0rpm.
These things always happen at the worst possible time - in the process of moving house!
A quick reply would be appreciated. Many thanks,
Al
