Crank sensor?...

Hi guy's I've had a diagnostic device plugged in to old faithful this morning because of an intermittent starting problem. Also the engine management light came on during the week but turned off 2 days later that didnt show anything but the crank sensor.

Now before i go booking it in how much would a crank sensor cost and how difficult is it to replace?

The car is a 2005 Mk2 Phase3 (Newer 1.2 16v engine)

i got one for my old 1.2 and it was 21 quid from the stealers, not sure if itl be the same part though.

the garage said it will be inbetween 30-60 for the part dependant on weather its a double sensor or single sensor. Single being the more expencive.
