Crankcase breathers



  172 cup'd extreme
where are you going to fit it, firstly there isnt a pipe to fit it to, the breathing is all taken care of in the inlet plenium

On my 172 i've fitted a sealed inlet elbow and run a 1m length of pipe down the bulk head exiting onto the road. The vapour and oily deposits are droppped straight onto the road. Voila

No

Oil breathers/catch cans are good on highly tuned cars to decrease the chances of det at WOT but pretty pointless on normal road cars
