Crap signal with short aerial

But my radio is just always crackling now. Have other people experienced this with the same aerial? What are other people using which aren't a metre long which allow decent signal?

Makes the radio unbearable!

Tempted to go s2000 but genuine are expensive! Not paying £40 for an aerial.

Have you looked at the OEM Polo MK 5 aerial? Cost me £7 a few years back for my golf. F**k £40 for an aerial.

I dont know mate, i had one on my corsa vxr and the signal was great.

I thought the citroen stubby ones were too but noone can enjoy having no signal...
I'll get one bought, I presume they're slightly longer than the citroen ones but not as huge as renault?

I think this is a type r aerial mate

I have the CTR one. Signal is ok but not as good as the Clio OEM one.
There was a shorter Renault one from the scenic/modus. Can't find the part number but see: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/short-renault-aerial-£8-delivered.238609/
