Crashed!!!!!

  320d
well as the title says.

Driving to work wet greasy road started to skid, panicked snached at the wheel and braked. Exactly the worst thing to do ended up going sideways and hitting a wall with the front end of my car :(

No pics because i forgot and its in the garage now.

On the upside i need a new bumper, headlight and wing and the slam panel pulling out and i was first quoted £1300 + VAT for the job, but my grandad knows someone who is doing it all for £570 inc VAT :D

So its not as bad as it could have been but major lesson learnt, showed me that i have a lot to learn about driving because i've only been on the road 4 months if it would have been 4 years it may have been different.

Unlucky mate. I've alot of respect for someone who crashes and admits they were at error....as you say, its all down to experience!

Glad its all being sorted out for a nice price.....well nicer than £1300 at least!

Hope you get her all sorted nicely Brett! Not too bad cost wise, could have been a lot worse :)

Happens to the best of us, I rear ended two cars in the space of two months in my polo gti, once when half asleep, lighting a benson, the other time, whilst admiring a saucy young dutch college girl on her way to school, wearing next to feck all, chalk it off and learn from your mistakes, I did, and i'm a eunoch now that sleeps for 20 hours a day.

Thanks mate, It was my fault all i can do is put my hands up. Yeh its a backstreet garage with a good reputation, without going into details he tends to forget VAT for cash.

I learnt the hard way too... Smashed up my mums Corsa which cost me about £600 to put right (about 6years back now too!)

Live and learn! :D
