Crazy Locking Problems

Hi guys,

Im new to the forum and Im pretty desperate for some help.

Over a period of time the remote central locking stopped working followed by the boot. I have checked the fuses and they seem ok.

Does anyone have any idea how I can narrow down the problem?

My clio is a 52 plate

My girlfriend had a similar problem on her car. Everything was locking with the central locking except the boot. Took it apart, could see that everything was working correctly. Turned out it just needed a bit of WD-40 and then some spray Grease.

Fingers crossed. But I cant even get into the boot!
