Creaking Clutch Pedal

I've noticed as of late the clutch pedal seems to be creaking and I'm pretty sure it's getting louder, it creaks when pressing and de-pressing the pedal.

Am I looking at a new cable?

Grease up where the cable meets the clutch fork and it should go away.
