Creaking clutch

My clutch pedal started creaking when I was doing a trackday a few weeks ago.
It started when the engine bay was very hot but the next day it had stopped.

Is there a point that needs re lubricating?

Majority of the Clio's I have owned have done it. There is a way to sort it, think it's in the guides section

The creaks I've experienced tend to be the pressure plate clutch forks or the cable fraying within the sleeve.

Mine does it when it's hot.

Mine started to creak and the damn nut the holds the guide thing for the cable on to the gearbox had started to come lose (rusted through or otherwise) and just buggered off whilst on the motorway leaving me with no clutch. When replaced the squeak had gone.

Easy enough thing to check. Hope it helps.
