creaking noise

just bought my clio 182 and i often hear a creaking noise when i'm parking. i park on a curb and it sounds to me that its the suspension. i also get it sometimes when cornering. any ideas what it could be. thanks.

sorry but 'creaking' is the best i could come up with to describe the noise.

check the dampers for leaks and the ant roll bars and bushes etc for play and grease them if need be/replace.

before i bought the car i had an AA check done, would'nt they have spotted that.... guess the AA are'nt so thorough, i'll have a look under tomorrow but could you give me any tip on what i'm looking for. thanks.

mine is the same mate only had it too months it also slides around corners when the road is not completely smooth ive took it back too the garage and they sent it out too a MOT station and it was all checked and they said they could not find anything wrong with the car so today im phoneing the finance company and telling them i want too take it back too the renault main dealer which costs £88+vat just for them too look at the car and if they wont pay they can have it back
