as people may know ive been messed around for the best part of 5 months with the sidestrips, 'new' 172 back bumper and door handles...... i was told the bumper was new and in mint condition........after it getting sprayed a few times in the wrong color, and being messed around etc......i finally got my stuff back yesterday...........
i was looking at the bumper today and it appears to have a quite noticable crease in it, towards the end of the strip/insert on the right hand side, going right up to the top edge of the bumper.....
cant really show it in the pics, but its something you wouldnt miss by looking at the bumper in person.......
when i got the bumper back for the first time a few months ago, when it had been sprayed in the wrong color, the crease WASNT there:
now by looking at it, it seems the crease has been done by it hitting something, or similar to when a car is reversed into something, but i was sold this bumper in mint/new condition :S and it cant of been on a car inbetween resprays?!?
as i only noticed this when i got it back........i dont know what to do.......obviously it cant be removed, and if its filled il always know it is there........probably end up going back to what it is now eventually......
i payed £120 for the bumper+sidestrips+handles to be sprayed, and over £140 in petrol going there and back because it had been done wrong so many times, which is another story... after this anyone would expect it to be mint, as i did, i was patient and thought everything would be good how i wanted.
people have said stop messing around, and put the bumper on the car, but i tried, and because of the crease, the bit that joins up to the wheel arch is sort of bent outwards, when you pull it in and secure it the bumper buldges where the crease is, so it isnt really usable..........but its the principal of the thing, i paid for a mint condition bumper, and professional spraying, to get the car back mint, not be fu*ked around yet again!
where would you lot go from here? seeing as the crease wasnt there when i got the bumper back the first time, and it magically is now......just wondering what you would do?
