Cruise Control 52 Plate 65 DCI

Guys,

I'm looking into fitting Cruise Control into my DCI 65 (due to moving house and doing about 40 miles of bypass/motor per work day.

I could see this guide: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?521679-Cruise-control-on-a-RS-172-or-a-dCi-(DIY)

However after taking the PVC casing and buttons off i think i don't have the loom? Can someone confirm this? The Guide i've linked too is missing a few Photos which would have helped

Any pointers here?

This is the current state behind my PVC Casing and buttons

  Renault Clio 172 Ph2
CC switch is: <CC on - Off - Lmtr on>
Increase, decrease, reset and set buttons are on the steering wheel...

On the panel you have

| Headlight Adjuster | Dash Dimmer | ------- | -------|

Hope fully you should be able to find the other 2 connectors 1 white, 1 grey.

Have a look further into the gap and further up the loom.

A full panel will be like this.

| Headlight Adjuster | Dash Dimmer | Cruise Switch/Limiter | ESP Switch |

  Many.
Extreamly unlikely for a 52 plate 65 to have the wiring at all. I'm guessing your car doesn't have climate control, as most climate control looms I've seen have had it.

The DCI I have has climate but no wiring for cruise. Not difficult to wire it in. But if you don't have access to clip it's a reprog job for Renault/specialist with clip.

Cruise control wiring looms started becoming standard from about 2003-2004. It is very unlikely you will have it fitted.
If it does, it's just plug and play; well for the dCi 100's (although it won't show on the dash).

Certainly, even with it programmed in the engine ECU, it won't work on mine without being displayed on the dash, Needs the dials coding too, Which I'm yet to do.

I considered adding cruise to my old loom before I converted to Climate but glad I didn't as its a lot of work.
