cruise control and limiter switch broken 182

My switch next to traction control button is nacked. I can't get cruise control to work at all and the limiter button dosent stay down and flicks up thus not working, anybody know where and how to change the switch, is it dash off? And where can I get replacement switch from?

You have to take the engine out...

I take it you haven't actually looked at the switch. The panel pops out and the switch un clips. eBay for replacement

Think there was a thread on here how to repair them?

Did mine a few years ago, think you take the switch apart and bend a little spring steel strip??

Problem is I pushed it hard it's now unreachable from the front

It's a very easy job. The panel literally pops out and it takes seconds to swap the switch with a working one.

Can't find the thread, how did fix yours and what's the spring steel strip.....will try and get to it and have a look...
