Cruise control dropping out with indicator

Hi - I noticed when using cruise control when I indicate left its dropping out. I managed to replicate this problem a couple of times. Any ideas how I can fix this?

maybe the standard issue of the connections/earths for the rear lights?

when indicating the car may think you're illuminating the brake light and cancelling the cruise?
