Cruise Control - small issue

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue, I notice when I set my cruise control on and set it to a speed, that the speed set on the cruise control and that shown on the speedo itself do not quite match...this a common thing? It is maybe 4 or 5mph off.

So for example if I set my speed to do 70mph, on the clock it looks like 74 or 75mph...

Any idea how to fix this?

Ive put this down to the speedo over-reading as the usually do on all cars

Indeed, the cruise control sets to an acutal speed (very close to gps speed) not the speedo indicated speed.

GPS 70
= CC 72
= Speedo 75ish

manufacturers tend to give a bit of headroom to speedo readouts, which is welcome for those drivers who drive on the speed limit everywhere
