does anyone else have an 04 172 with no cruise control?
I'm curious as I thought all had it after 2004?
was wondering if it had a new wheel fitted without the controls or something as its in mint condition?

Look for the cruise control switch near the dash dimmer dial. If not there then no cc.

Retrofitted my '03 172 with cc for about £100

As has been said, you can kind of answer your own question..is the switch there by dimming switch

My old 172 had the esp switch but no CC.
