cup airbags

Does the cup have the same amount of air bags as the normal 172?

I dont think it has side airbags, whereas the normal 172 does

nope, the cup only has 2, both in front, the 172 has 2 in the seat sides, no great loss though as when they go off its new seat time, mucho expendo

Neither Cup nor 172 bashing, just stating that they wouldn;t put the side air bags in if they didnt make the car any safer.

i refer to the CHEAPSKATES bit i think that is cup bashing (and to be honest a stupid statemnent), not the airbag bit, and as for the airbag bit whats the point in worrying nathan coz his car has only got 2 airbags ??

no im saying i dont really give a f**k, i got another car that has more airbags than a little on it, and abs and leather etc etc, and to be honest the cup goes better, handles better, and stops better without all the goodies.

what info you basing your theory on lager, you have the info on how much damage an airbag causes to drivers and passengers, and no real evidence to say that side airbags save lives at all ?? do you

Now now kids,Cars nowadays are safe but youll be interested to know that its all an illusion.

Cars are n-cap tested to 40mph at which "they" say you can withstain a near fatal crash at this speed.

You would need one of those cars from demolition man the film to survive a 70 mph head on down a "a"road.The clio currently carries the same safety criterium as a c class merc,which in all fairness is pretty good.As a reflection this makes the clio the safest car in its class.

If i had my girlfriend or son in the car i dont care how much a seat costs with an airbag to replace as long as ive got hem home at night.And people go on about mature comments and growing up....huh

I read somewhere that the passenger bag was missing on a cup. Is that right or not? You cup guys should know if youve had the dash off.
