Cup badge removal

After having recently acquired a set of new 172 cup badges, i need to remove the old ones as they are missing the 172 part.
Is it as easy as using a hair dryer and dental floss??

should be fine, then some tardis etc to remove sticky stuff

Once you've heated them up, should be able to get your nail behind it and lift it off.

Or just leave the Cup wording on and simply replace the 172?

Well i would but the cup letters are at different places on the pillars, and im abit funny about things being equal.

I just peeled them off with my nail haha, then scrubbed the adhesives left underneath off!
