Cup Bump strips

If i was to just get some laquer and spray the bump strips on the cup, would they look ok like the rest of the car, or would i need to spray them with coloured paint first?

Doubt it mate? they are a different colour arn't they? other than just being matt i mean? Mine look slighty different anyway? Just wack some back to black on em and they look mint IMO?
