Cup Confussion

I have just been to the Renault Garage! To get some details on the 182.

Anyway she handed me the brochure and price list.

I said can you get Cups, as in from another dealer. She said yes and from the factory. Take 6-8 weeks!

WTF. Surely she is wrong. And we arent talking the 182 with cup option. As they are listed price wise as 2 seperate cars. 182 and 172 cup with different prices!

Any ideas??

There was a nice 172 for £10995 on the forecourt. They look proper bo in black

She was probably referring to left over stock.

I remember when the Zetec-S went out of production, there were still loads brand new you could buy direct from Ford. I suspect new Cups will be around for a while yet.

no there were only 5 left at the start of the week. Though i suspect therll be some pre reg ones about in addition to that

No she defo said a Cup from the factory will take 6-8 weeks OR we can get from another dealer.

I bet they mean the 182 with the Cup bits on...

Already heard people talking about the "new" 182 Cup, which as we know aint happening!

I am not arguing u can get them. I dont think you can just seems odd she said that

And also that they still list them. But theymay have prodeuced the 182 brochures when the cup was stil an option?????

My local dealer told me there are no more cups or 172s available anymore he looked it up on the computer.....

Reminds me of that cartoon with the two blokes! Customer in a parts department pointing at the shelf and the sales guy behind the counter saying "its no good you pointing at it, the computer says we havent got any!"
