how much did the de cat cost? whats the story with the two lamba sensors fitted to the standard cat, do they fit into the janspeed one? i really want to get one of these to compliment the cat back magnex so let me know how u get on with it and if u notice any difference in power

Cost £93.50 incl p+p+vat, theres two take offs for the lambada sensors, ill post when its fitted!!

thats good. two holes for Lambda sensors. means i dont have to worry about tucking the second test sensor up anywhere

Is the Decat/Cat just bolted on to the exhaust? I cant be bothered looking under my car!

If it is, ill be ordering one of these, if not ill just get someone to weld me a straight through pipe on!

bolted to manifold and center section manifold uses 2 spring boltys with a very small nut its a git

Mine arrived today, its got two sensor holes. Its too wet to fit it so Im off to quick fit with it

If you tell your insurance company you have a modded exhaust system does this also cover the de-cat pipe? Also would Renault be funny about a de-cat? Cat backs are fine but not sure on a de-cat?

lol i got mine insured for free with tesco i said im replacing the exhaust with a ss one renault claim original is ss in an add somewhere so he said is it a bigger bore i replied a bigger what

he says ok will put it as like for like lol

Does anyone know what Renault Dealerss views are on fitting a full de-cat ? I know mine are fine with any cat-back but have never asked them about how de-cat affects warranty.

How would I go on with de-cat when rest of car is standard ?

Can someone explain what both these lamda sensors do and what you do with the 2 wires & the effect of not having both wired up.

right renault didnt care about mine

the second sensor is there to tell when the cats warmed up when its unpluged it thinks its hot all the time su uses more fuel

is the first sensor still to be wired up on a de-cat (whats is for) and how much is mpg affected by using more fuel

cheers, will prob do a search for de-cat as im sure someone will have gone through this b4

first checks to see emmisions same as second but its onlt the firsts thats needed

you wont notice it as its the same as when car has warmed up

yes it is but its a bit difficult to get on the top two nuts. ill do it myself when the weather gets better!! you know what they say about paying penuts!!

You can fit it DIY but make sure you have a good socket set. The top two nuts really are a tw*t to get to.
