Cup delivery date at last...

Finally got a delivery date from New-Car-Discount.Com for the Cup...and Im now not going to get my hands on it until about 7th November. It doesnt arrive at Renault UK until the 5th, and I should see it a couple of days later.

Its been eight weeks since I ordered it already...I was starting to get a little excited thinking itd be here soon, but Ive still got SEVEN more weeks to go.

Im starting to get really hacked of with the Mondeo now as well...had a good go against my pal in his Leon Cupra R on Sunday morning and he kicked me good and proper.

All this waiting...Im going m m m m m m mad I tell ya...

i ordered my sport from motor provider in the middle of aug, to be told a sep 1 deliivery date was no problem!! 21 days later and customs hold up, transporter hold ups, DVLA hold ups and im still waiting, so my advice is, when the keys are in yer hand, thats when its yours!!!!!!!

I think the brokers wait until they have a large number of orders - say 20, before they order from their Renault dealer.

I ordered 2 weeks ago from a dealer and was told first week of November.

TRY AND FIND OUT WHAT PORT ITS COMING IN AT .TEESPORT OR SOUTHAMPTON IF IT COMES IN THROUGH TEESPORT I CAN LOOK OUT FOR IT AND FIT THE ALARM MYSELF(and drive it before you HE HE)

My wifes not happy either...shes got to put up with me being like a big kid waiting for Christmas for another 7 weeks now.

Could this be a reason for the dashboard rattles?

its got nothing to do with the alarms as we only take the radios out when fitting

I ordered my Cup direct from a Renault dealer on 11th July and Im still waiting. Was told it would be here first week of September. I start a new job on Monday and cannot get there without a car. Would I be within my rights to request a courtesy car to see me through until my Cup arrives?

had the same problems with new car discount, got about 3 delivery dates and 12 week wait before my 2-3 week as originally told, cup arrived, filthy, not washed never mind valeted as promised. And driver told me its been washed as its been through 3 showers of rain on way here. Finally arrived 20 mins before i had to be at my wedding rehearsal. FUN
Worth it now though.

Renault dealers tend to forget to tell you the sport factory is shut in August and sell you on a date they know wont be met as there is no one there to make the car. So if you buy in July or August add what ever dat they told you to the 1st of september and hey presto you get your delivery date. Oh and i saw a brand you cup in silver Monday, they look fantastic! cant wait for my 172 on the 1st of november.

Had the same, ordered mine in July, had the delivery date of september and guess what getting it on the 17th of October!!

orderd my 172 in mid of aug for a 1 sep delivery, its in sheffield since moday with motor provider, should get it tomorrow, cannot wait, Im like a kid at xmas, 25 days extra wait seems like an etenity, but some of the brokers seems to think 3-4 months isnt a problem, so ive not done too bad!!
