Cup gets M.O.T tomorrow!

Getting my cup mot'd tomoz after 4 weeks of ownership, let's hope she passes because it runs out on the 10th.

Done lots of simple checks and found no faults, i'm 100% sure it will pass..................................fingers crossed.

basically the cup is set up so the rear brakes hardly work, but its designed like that, if you read the vosa newsletter you will see the article about it and just says to pass them basically even though they come under the usual restrictions for vehicles rear brakes.my advice is print the newsletter and take it with you, thats what i do every time we have MOT'd a cup.

Agree with above, lot of people get failed with it, even though it's all good and healthy.

if you read it it actually talks about the load sensing valve mite be missing or the arm controlling the valve is missing and so can fail on not having it.

im sure that when the check sheet is printed out at the start of the test there will be a nite at the bottom stating the info

It faild

It got failed on a offside front top mount, center exhaust rubber hanger missing, and the driverside headlight is missing the height adjuster and needs adjusting!

Not too bad i don't think, the top mount is £53 inc vat from renault so it's£100 fitted with the exhaust hanger

I just need to get a height adjuster before 10 days to get it booked back in.
