Stayed in the Lakes for a couple of days last week, roads were unbelievable.

Much busier in the summer though, the roads were so quiet last week but even with the conditions i was still able to drive it quite hard.

It really wasn't that bad up there, they'd clearly put some effort into clearing all their roads, unlike down here.

Its a road that runs between Appleby and Kendal, I think it is the A685.

We stayed here and I'd go back, spa could do with a bit of a refurb though, it was starting to look a bit tired.
