Micras are usually driven by teachers, brownie leaders, womens institute members and vicars!

REAL WOMEN DONT DRIVE MICRAS

hey!! .. i used to drive a micra before my clio 172

Cupstar, you leave those little micras alone, you big bully..

No dont go to renault, leave your car at a bodyshop as they get parts for suppliers prices, RENAULT DONT MAKE THE PARTS!

lol, the sight at Santa Pod yesterday

the micrasportsclub.com had a meet, was very comical to see the 1litres doing the 1/4 mile

though the super turbo micra wasnt too slow

Sorry but youd have to be an absolute raving homosexual to own a micra, and even more so to admit it to hundreds of people on a website.

erm no offence KDF lol

Rob

Have you seen the new Micra? I think it is awful, a mixture of a few other cars and like everything else, it has grown in size too.

so are you saying that Renault just build the cars using parts from out side suppliers to make them?

Well my view on the new one is different, i actually think its quite a cute looking thing! Theyve started from scratch (which they needed to do). I think they should of changed the name though to completely lose the only for OAPs image. I wouldnt personally as its too cutesy for my liking.

Does that mean you dont like the new Renault family look Sylvia?

None taken, I didnt actually own it.. it was my parents car and I used it as a run around until I could afford the 172.. funny thing was I sold the micra to my 26 year old mate cause my parents went out and bought a new car (a clio funnily enough)... lol..

My old Micra Super S was a damn site quicker and better handling than my Clio, but not as comfortable, well specd and cheap to run. Never underestimate a Micra, one of the lads up here is putting either a 1.8 turbo (Bluebird ZX) lump in his, or if he can source the parts, a Pulsar 2ltr turbo, then it will shift!

Bad luck with the car, just get her insurance company to pay, problem solved.

my first car was an old banged out 1985 k10 micra - sh*t i know, but a good first car that you can learn how to drive properly in - good economy, V.reliable (never had a problem with starting, only had to replace clutch as it was still on original:eek: !). yeah they loked absolutely sh*t and had no cred, but buit better than other cars of their time IMO. ROb youre being a bit harsh, theres some well-styled K11s about, used to go on that site and theres some ok motors there - rode in the march super turbo, ok i havent had a ride in any other fast cars but that the acceleration and power out of a 988cc motor was pretty clever engineering?!

look at a bloke called Kevs K10, he takes that well seriously!

much more pleased with the RT tho before anyone knocks me! ;)

hey i had a 1 litre micra for a first car! dusted loads of cars with it, (well 1.1 fiestaS and morris 1000s) mega reliable, fantastic for wheelspinning cus of the skinney tires, in the wet could get it spinning in third. qouted as top speed of 88mph, i got mine well off the clock at 100. used to seriosly outhandle my mates mk5 1.4 escort, and held him off to 70.
