It sounds to me like youve set a seatbelt pre-tensioner off ?? how bad was the spin ? it may be the old fault of dodgy wiring under the 2 frt seats that go to the seatbelt pre-tensioners on each seat - if a pre-tensioner has fired off, you will have to replace it + an airbag computer as well as they are not re-programmable. The orange light is your airbag warning light and the service light is simply letting you know that you have a fault with your airbag system.

Id very much say, its not the pre-tensioners gone.

Its most likely a loose sensor under the seat, get out look under the seat and make sure nothing is touching the wiring or cables, and make sure everything is firmly pressed together.

Check on both driver and passenger seat. Then the light will miraculasly (sp) dissappear. :)

Well it was dampish taking on a boxter so i gave it some stick in 1st and 2nd and after that just came on.

Boxter got a shock though lol stuck to him like glue.

Will try it CupCake and see if theres anything loose, if not its going in.

Where can you get tech notes from?

Do you work for Renault or somthing?

Its happened to mine twice, simple fix for Reno, properly fixed it the second time. Been fine since.

I think the conectors under the seat come loose mega easy. I have heard of this a few times. All Reno will do is solder them, thats what they did with mine anyway.
