Cup or not

This might sound like a stupid question, but how do you know is a 172 is a cup or not.

Well they only came in silver or blue iirc, they usually have a 172 Cup badge on the door pillars too, or somewhere near there.

Silver and blue yeah. Cup alloys, lower, blue dash inserts (although that might just be with the blue one). No xenons, washers. Slightly lower. Non leather interior. I'm sure there are a few other bits

Difference in weight is same as having a passenger or not, really isn't much of a performance advantage, but there is a big comfort advantage in the leather/Aircon etc.

Suspension is better though on the cup.

If its a track car, cup makes sense, for a road car though personally I would sooner have the creature comforts, and anyway people can always do like my mrs has and retrofit the cup shocks and suspension arms etc so that you get the handling advantages without the poverty spec
