cup shocks



  182 FF Arctic
just wondering are the cup 182 shockers the same as the std 182 shocker & was the cup pack just springs they changed?

Well the cupped cars have a different hub bolt spacing than a standard 182 shock, so they are different in that respect.

well thats what i thought but just spoke to nwp & they say they are the same, as my bro's rear one is leaking & needs new 1

Non cupped 182 has a bolt spacing of 54mm

Cupped 182 has a bolt spacing of 60mm

You never said rear, (they bolt up the same) Cupped shocks are part of the 'extreme pack' Best thing would be to to check with Renault or someone in the know on here with a non Cupped 182 Reg and a cupped one. See if the part no's are the same...

From memory I could almost swear that Koni only list one part number for rear adjustable dampeners. So I would assume they are the same - But definately worth waiting for one of the experts to reply first ;)

Pretty sure the part numbers for the cup pack rear shocks were different when I ordered mine, can grab the number for you later on if you want
